Faith was raised in the south and finds her relocation to Minnesota shocking. Faith knows little about snow and becomes deeply afraid when the power goes out during a snow storm. Faith is alone a majority of the time because her husband is a pilot, so when she makes friends with the neighborhood women, she embraces them like a lifeline.
