Section 3: pages 41-64 Summary

The next morning, Aidan wakes to his phone but ignores it since he knows it is Derrick calling because Aidan should have started posting two hours ago. Remembering the girl on the screen, Aidan checks his email and again sees the image sent by EmpiresFall@gmail.com. His online search for Paige Roderick yields no results, but he decides against posting her picture because it might generate the FBI's interest; "the potential hassle outweighed the benefits" (page 43). Aidan posts several blogs, but he cannot stop thinking about Paige Roderick so he responds to the email asking about the shopping. At 5:42 P.M., EmpiresFall responds that the blowout sale was on the wrong floor and this is Aidan's chance.
