Summary

In Chapter 25: The Bad Guys are Locked Up, it is Saturday-Sunday September 7-8, 1935. To get the bar spreader back, Moose, Natalie, Theresa, and Jimmy must visit Janet. However, the Trixle apartment is locked and no one is home. Jimmy blames himself for what has happened, and knows that Moose wishes he would play baseball and throw like Scout, else the spreader would never have come back to shore. The next day, Piper and Annie come to see Moose. Piper calls in her favor. She wants to meet Scarface – Al Capone. She knows she would be treated differently if she was a boy.

In Chapter 26: Al Capone is the Waiter, preparations are made at the Officer’s Club for the party for Hoover and Ness. Everyone, even Moose, must dress up for the gathering. Annie and Piper perform well and are excited by the applause...
