Summary

In Chapter 11: 3:42 a.m., Mari and Takahashi sit in the park petting cats and feeding them. Takahashi reveals that he ran into Eri outside of Tower Records after their double date. They started talking and ended up getting drinks, and Eri revealed that she was sad because she felt there was a distance between her and her sister. Takahashi says that Eri was taking lots of pills, and Mari is not surprised. Mari asks Takahashi if he is deeply interested in Eri, and he says that he is interested in her. He says that she has a certain charisma, but that the more he talked to her the more he began to feel as if he were talking to someone far away.
