Chapter 51: Amy

Harley and elder listen to the announcement from Eldest. Eldest has called everyone to the Keeper Level. Harley devises a way in which Amy can use the grav tube by holding onto Elder, almost as if he is carrying her.

Chapter 52: Elder

Elder would rather be alone with Amy than attend a meeting of all of the people on board. Eldest calls the meeting to order. He tells people that the landing date of Godspeed has been miscalculated. It will not land for near 75 years - 25 years more than was anticipated. The crowd stirs. Soon, however, the crowd calms, content to know that while they will not see land, their children will.
