Chapter 19 Summary and Analysis

Hackworth felt that the politicians and generals didn't know what was really going on in the war. He began to train his battalion and implemented his own rules. At first the men complained, but after one day decided that he knew what he was doing. They were in Vietnam and he was vtrying to do what was best for them.
