Summary

44 – A few months after her breakup with Amaia, the author starts a relationship with a woman named Alice – nice, quiet, clean. At the end of the first date, the author weeps, and Alice consoles her. A short time afterwards, Amaia gets in touch to say that her relationship has ended, and that she wants to see the author. The author agrees, but then goes on a prearranged date with Alice. A call from Amaia interrupts that phone call, with Amaia realizing that the author is with someone else, then becoming angry and blaming, and then accusing the author of betraying her. The author tries to defend herself, but eventually apologizes, begs to be forgiven, breaks up with Alice, and asks Amaia to come for a visit.
