The Reflecting World

The Reflecting World is the narrative realm in which Oli, Risk, Reign, Brightest, Ami, Mockingbird, and others of the animal people live. Generations prior to the narrative present, a portal existed between the Reflecting World and Earth. Creatures from both realms would travel freely between the worlds, living in communion with one another. When Earth became too dangerous for the animal people and spirits, they returned to the Reflecting World. In the narrative present, it is rare for the creatures from the Reflecting World to travel to Earth. Only the scribes from the coyote pack make the trip in order to rent books from Nina's father to carry back to the Reflecting World.
