The Arms

The Arms is the pub that Harry owns. It is where characters in the stories meet up for drinks and gather for political activism and discussions. It is also where Harry envisions the pub infested with mice. The Arms is a location used in multiple stories throughout the collection.

The Flat

The flat is where David moves in after Karl and Peppi disappear. David spends his time searching for answers in Karl and Peppi’s disappearance. It is where David discovers a fifth room in the flat that is hidden and where David finds explicit photographs of Karl and Peppi. This location appears in the story “The Flat.”
