Chapters 13 - 17 Summary

In Chapter 13, Ethan mows yards instead of going to the Farm. Another summer passes without a visit to the farm. It grows cold and football games resume. Ethan can now drive and takes Bailey with him. When school ends, Mom and Ethan take Bailey to the farm. Grandpa and Ethan build a new barn. Hannah comes over often and sits on the porch with Ethan. Bailey tries to sit between them and they laugh.

When Ethan returns from the farm, he talks with Hannah on the phone a lot. One day a silver bus comes and brings Hannah. Ethan tells her that scouts from the University of Michigan are coming that night to see him play football. Bailey sits with Hannah while Ethan plays.
