The Altus Space is a virtual reality experience Carl’s brother created, which allows humans to live in an alternate dimension. They can create anything and learn new experiences. By using Altus, humans unknowingly give access to their minds to Carl’s brother.

Val Verde, Near Future

Peter’s secret lab is located in Val Verde. Miranda goes to the Altus Headquarters when she is first hired and is unable to communicate with the outside world. Then, Peter traps her in the server farm. April, Maya, and Carl come to Val Verde to face off against Peter and Carl’s brother. They successfully destroy Altus and save Miranda.
