Frida G. Surawicz and Richard Banta

Dr. Frida G. Surawicz is an established authority on diseases of the mind. As an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Kentucky Medical College, as well as the chief of psychiatry for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, Surawicz worked closely with her colleague Dr. Richard Banta, a resident at the University of Kentucky Medical College, to treat the two case studies of lycanthropy evaluated in this viewpoint.
