Hayley R. Mitchell holds a master of fine arts degree in poetry from the University of Washington and master's degree in literature from California State University, Long Beach. She teaches college-level creative writing and composition in Southern California and edits the small press literary magazine, Sheila-Na-Gig. Her other titles for Lucent Books include Teen Alcoholism and The Wolf, and she has edited two literary companions for Greenhaven Press: Readings on: Wuthering Heights and Readings on: A Doll's House.
