As a college psychology major, Susan Blackmore was intrigued by the suggestive evidence favoring ESP. She became a parapsychologist and devoted several years to studying ESP and other paranormal phenomena. However, she became frustrated, never able to find conclusive evidence of ESP. She developed alternate theories and experimented more, but still didn't find what she hoped to. Eventually, she abandoned her pro—ESP stance. Dean Radin also studied psychology in college and became a parapsychologist. But Radin was more fortunate in the research he undertook.
