Mötley Crüe, the Los Angeles-based heavy metal quartet whose quadruple-platinum album, Dr. Feelgood, hit Billboard's No. 1 spot in 1991 and paved the road to Billboard's Top 40 and MTV's top video charts for other big-haired, glam-rock bands of the mid-1980s.
