Why wouldn't a horse breeder mate male and female palominos to get palomino colts?

Palaminos are produced by hybridization, so breeding two palaminos to each other would not produce another palamino, but rather would produce a purely dominant, purely recessive horse. The chances of getting a pure palamino would not offset the cost, either.
