Science How does the entropy of an ice cube change when it melts? Asked by Dr. John Carmen 13 years ago 1/9/2013 2:04 AM Last updated by anonymous 13 years ago 1/9/2013 10:11 PM
Water changes from a solid, which has water moelcules arranged in a regular pattern, to a liquid which has no ordered arrangement of molecules. This means disorder increases and entropy increases when ice melts.
