Do opposite characters always have opposite values, actions, etc? Explain.
Not necessarily. Sometimes you have character foils: characters that are so opposite that they bring out traits in each other. Consider characters like Hamlet and Young Fortinbras or Ferris Bueller and the Principal in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day off. Opposite characters sometimes can have some alike traits but their circumstances are very different.
I think the key is to focus on the character's motivations and how they change throughout the story. Using one or two direct examples from the text to support your explanation will make your answer much stronger and more convincing.
