What does Nelly encounter when she travels to Wuthering Heights in Chapter 14?

Nelly makes the trip to the Heights alone and finds Isabella anxiously waiting. The house and Isabella are dirty and neglected, and Heathcliff looks like a fine gentleman next to his dirty wife. Heathcliff asks about Catherine, and Nelly tells him that it would be best for Catherine if he stayed away from her.
