Trail of Lightening consists of 38 chapters of short length as Maggie describes her mission to uncover the truth behind the strange cannibalistic monster that she comes across in the first couple of chapters. She is drawn to uncover the background of this monster as it reminds her of her past, when she was attacked and her grandmother was eaten.
