What is The Knot of Minds

The Knot of Minds symbolizes rebellion and rightfulness in the novel. Although the members of the Knot are Wranaui, and have a genetic predisposition to serve the greater good of their species, the group rebels against their great leader Ctein to save their species. Ctein believed that the Wranaui would be able to destroy the Corrupted without the Idealis, but the Knot of Minds knew that without it they would not stand a chance. Therefore, they staged a coup that involved the crew of the Wallfish, and more specifically Kira and the Idealis to take down their mighty leader.
