At the beginning Boo Radley is this mysterious figure that no one has ever seen or heard from. Then he moves from being the great unknown, to a friendly unknown when he leaves the mended pants and the objects in the tree. Later, he quietly brings and places a blanket around Scout's shoulders at the fire. Eventually, the kids see him as a nice man that everyone should take the time to get to know.
