British Columbia (or, often, BC) is the province of Canada on its Pacific coast. Its capital is Victoria and its largest city Vancouver. It has an area of almost a million square kilometers and a population approaching five million. It is known for its mountains which consist of the Rockies and those on the Central Plateau. Its highest point is Mount Fairweather at 4663 meters, which is partly in Alaska. May of the New England Aquarium's octopuses, including Octavia, are caught in and delivered from British Columbia. One of their suppliers, Ken Wong, dived six times to find Karma, and he had previously brought George to the aquarium too.
