In The Sea of Monsters, CC and her sisters meet Percy and Annabeth and welcome them to the island, which they are passing off as a high end resort and spa. In reality, they are separating them. Later, CC offers Annabeth untold powers and immortality if she will stay. She turns Percy into a Guinea Pig.
