Augustus Snodgrass is a member of the Pickwick Club. He is described as a harmless young man, who is viewed as the poet of the club, though he never actually writes. On the Pickwickians' first trip to Manor Farm, Augutus begins a romance with Emily Wardle. They later marry at Mr. Pickwick's new home.
