is kino or his wife stronger

I'm going to say that Juana is the stronger of the two. Juana knew early on what kind of obsession the Pearl holds in the hearts of men.At one point in the story, she tried to throw the pearl in the ocean despite knowing Kino would be furious. Juana follows Kino despite the dangers and seems to be the bedrock of the relationship.
