John F. Kennedy High School is the school that Addison attends along with others of his age, including Digger and Alex. This is also where Kevin went to school until his death. The high school seems fairly typical for the time and place. Addison makes a sarcastic remark about the racial makeup of the school, which has more blacks but with most of the white students involved in the gifted and talented program.
