Who is Nancy from The Long Hard Road Out of Hell and what is their importance?

Manson used a girl named Nancy as a prop for his stage act. He would simulate sex with her, lead her around on a leash, and abuse her. He eventually threw her out of the band and threatened to kill her when she refused to stop stalking him. Manson later began to plot ways in which he could murder her or have her murdered.
