Initially, we perceive sharing feelings as a kind of constructive family time. It quickly becomes apparent, however, that family sharing is actually a form of indoctrination. The Elders utilize family time as a way for parents to spy on their children and vice-versa. Parents and children are all required to report any abnormalities to the Elders. Parents are expected to instill the values of the community on their children.
