Luke is a priest of an older, religion that is little practiced. We are given hints that it might be Catholicism. Luke and Julian have an affair and produce a child. Luke does not claim the child but wants both Julian and the child to be safe. He is violently beaten and killed by an Omega gang when he prevents them from reaching Julian.
