What is the final straw that lead Karim to leaving Pyke's action troupe and completely cutting them out of his life?

While in New York, Pyke admits that he manipulated Eleanor and Karim's relationship from the beginning. This is the final straw for Karim and he decides to leave the acting troupe and cut off all contact to them. Karim moves in with Charlie in New York and decides to stay when the acting troupe finishes and moves back to London.
