What is the setting of the novel, The Antelope Wife?

The novel begins in the latter part of the nineteenth century when Quaker Scranton Roy enlists in the U. S. Cavalry after being spurned by a woman he desires. The majority of the action, however, takes place in Minneapolis between the end of World War II and the 1990s.
