How has The Chorus of The Clouds changed throughout the play?

The Chorus of the Clouds at first was very supportive of Strepsiades and even encouraged him to send his son to The Thinkery. But by the close of Pheidippides's education they warn Strepsiades he will end up heartbroken. It should be mentioned that for the entirely of the play The Chorus of The Clouds are very self-interested and use their position on stage to promote their personal beliefs.
