Tarzan's cousin 'claimed' the family fortune and estates. Unlike Tarzan, he is pompous, self serving, weak, and opportunistic. He has wealth and power, and yet, he is still a weak, cruel individual. Tarzan, on the other hand, puts others first, is selfless, and sacrificing.
