How does the epilogue encourage the audience to view the events of the play?

Much like the prologue, the epilogue asks the audience to think about the play. The epilogue does ask for reflection and is, in many ways, rhetorical. The audience understands what has happened but the epilogue frames the themes in a way to give dramatic effect.
