Medical lab coats

Medical lab coats feature into the story “Lab Coats”. Lab coats are worn by medical professionals in the story, and are sent to laundry after being used. Lab coats are then inventoried, shipped out for cleaning, returned, and inventoried upon their unpacking by the Narrator and a Secretary. When the Secretary kills her lover over his delay in divorcing his wife, the Narrator discovers his tongue in his lab coat.
