Britta from Princess Academy seems to be a loner in the village but is actually a nobleman's daughter. She was not from Mount Eskal and was sent there to wed the Prince. This is something she finds really embarassing so she just goes to work in the quarry even though she can't hear the quarry speech. The Prince actually ends up choosing her since he actually loves her.
