What is the author's style in the memoir, Not That Kind of Girl?

Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham is a memoir of Lena’s life and is written in a series of anecdotes. It is an episodic retelling of parts of Lena’s life and is not organized in a chronological manner.

Throughout the book are cartoon-like drawings that illustrate the topic that Lena is writing about. She also includes a number of “list” of things she’s learned, thinks or has done.
