What is the importance of the chapter titles in the novel, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle?

With the exception of the first chapter, each chapter focuses on one family in which a child has a behavioral issue. In each of these chapters, the perspective is on the child initially, explaining how that child behaves (and misbehaves). The chapter titles are all named based on the “cure” Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle provides to a character in that chapter.
