Does Marlowe get the opportunity to tell the King goodbye in Chapter 26?

No, Marlowe does not get the chance to say goodbye. King does not respond to his name and seems to be in a daze.... but that doesn't stop Marlowe from running up to the truck as it pulls away to wave at the King. Sadly, the King never looks back.
