Comment on point of view

The novel is narrated by Mare, Cameron, and Evangeline, indicated by chapter headings. All three characters narrate in the first person present tense, relying heavily on inner monologue as well as external dialogue. Each narrator offers the reader a different perspective on the events of the novel, and Evangeline’s chapters in particular offer unique insight into the Silver elite that is not offered by Mare or Cameron.
