Who is Helen Burns from Jane Eyre?

Helen Burns is Jane's best friend from Lowood. Four years Jane's senior, Helen helps her to acclimate herself to her new surroundings. She is kind, generous, humble, and loving. Helen dies from tuberculosis, leaving Jane behind to mourn her loss.
