Who are Freida and Elsa?

Freida and Elsa are two actors involved in the European production of "... Vengeance." They enact its two main female characters, whose intimate and sexual relationship is the focus of the so-called "Rain Scene." Freida is older, more experienced as an actor, and more interested in what her character and "...Vengeance" have to say about Jewishness than what it has to say about sexuality. Elsa is nervous about the scene's sexuality, but Freida is matter-of-fact about it, saying that Elsa will have to get used to both the idea and the activity sooner rather than later.
