What is the "Ajax Salon" in the novel, If I Had Your Face?

Ajax Salon is a high-class brothel in Seoul. It is the most expensive room salon in Nonhyeon and only employs the "top ten percent" of sex workers in the country. On the surface, businessmen bring their clients to the salon in order to talk about their deals in dark rooms with marble tables. They pay extravagant prices for young women to sit next to them and pour their drinks. In reality, however, the women are expected to drink with the men and to have sex with them for money.
