When does Ghost start to regret having cut up his shoes?

Ghost’s day goes alright until he gets to class, and Shamika drops her pencil and when she leans down to get it, she sees his shoes, and starts to laugh. She is not a mean person, but her laugh is infectious, and it draws attention to Ghost’s feet.
