Who is Saint Kateri Tekakwitha?

Saint Kateri Tekakwitha is also known as Lily of the Mohawks. She was a Roman Catholic convert at the age of 19 and took a vow of perpetual virginity. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1980 and canonized by Pope Benedict XVI in 2012.
