Who is Big George in Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg?

Big George is Sipsey's son (adopted). Like his mother, George is devoted to the Threadgoode family. He even takes it upon himself to dispose of Frank Bennett's body after his murder. George and Idgie are both charged as accessories in the crime, and later exhonerated.
