What is your opinion on the psychological tactics the coaches resort to in their efforts to motivate the players? How could this be problematic

I think these tactics are rather abusive and manipulative considering that these boys are still children. They fill them up with unrealized dreams and potential only to crush them when these boys cannot live up to them.
