Who comes to Everdene farm with word of having sighted Bathsheba in Chapter 33? Where and how was she described?

The assistant shepherd, Cainy Ball, returns from a vacation in Bath and tells the others that he saw Bathsheba in the city arm in arm with Sergeant Troy. His descriptions make it sound as though he witnessed the couple entering a church to marry.
