Who is Domenico from The Enchanted April and what is their importance?

Domenico is employed as the villa as a gardener and handyman. He takes care of the women when they arrive, and he also takes care of the gardens while they're there. His actions and attitudes can be seen as representing a consideration, a compassion, and a tenderness that all four of the women are not getting from the men in their lives.
